The Brew Estate
Overview
The Brew Estate is North India’s largest brewpub network, known for its fresh craft beer offerings and experiential dining. With ambitions to expand pan-India and reach 30 outlets by 2022, the brand sought to strengthen its market visibility and investor appeal. The engagement came through a referral from the promoter of Rock & Storm, who was also a co-promoter in The Brew Estate venture.
Client Mandate
In 2018, Spectrum Communications was engaged to raise the brand’s profile and attract investor interest as The Brew Estate planned its expansion across new markets.
Challenge
Microbreweries and brewpubs in metro cities such as Bengaluru, Pune, and Gurugram were already receiving significant media attention due to their demographic appeal. Established brands like Big Brewsky and Toit had frequently made headlines with their expansion stories, making it challenging for The Brew Estate to stand out in an already visible and competitive category.
Approach
Spectrum positioned Arun Singla, the entrepreneur behind the venture, as a dynamic industry leader driving the brand’s growth. The campaign highlighted the company’s investment potential and expansion ambitions to attract attention from national business, trade, and international media.
The team facilitated one-on-one meetings between Arun Singla and key opinion leaders in the microbrewery industry to explore partnerships and linkages that could support expansion into new markets. Select bloggers were also invited to experience and review The Brew Estate’s premium brewpub offerings, helping build awareness among lifestyle and food-focused audiences.
The brand story was featured across prominent publications including CEO Magazine (Australia & Asia), Beverage Daily (UK), The Economic Times, The Times of India, and YourStory.
Outcome
Within a year, The Brew Estate gained significant national visibility and recognition, attracting interest from both investors and industry stakeholders. The brand also received recognition from industry bodies within the food and beverage and startup ecosystems, reinforcing its credibility as a growing player in the craft brewing segment.
